Android Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 3, 2026
This policy covers NetPilot: Network Training (also called NetPilot Academy) for Android, package com.netpilotapp.academy, operated by NetPilot App, LLC. Contact: support@netpilotapp.com.
Learning data on your device
Study progress, quiz history, unfinished quizzes, bookmarks, achievements, game scores, preferences and reminder settings are stored on your device. The Android app does not upload this learning data to us, sync it to iOS, or require a NetPilot account. App data is excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer.
Subscriptions
Google Play processes payments. We use RevenueCat to verify purchases, restore access, manage subscription status and understand subscription activity. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app installation identifier, purchase history and subscription information for these purposes. Purchase-related data is transmitted using encryption. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
The app does not contain advertising or send your name or email to RevenueCat as customer attributes. It does not enable advertising-identifier integrations or upload your learning activity for analytics. Subscription analytics concern purchases and subscription status.
See Google’s privacy policy and RevenueCat’s privacy policy for their practices.
Permissions and links
Notifications are optional and used for local study reminders. Device restart and time-change events reschedule those reminders. You can disable reminders in Settings or manage notification permission in Android. Website and Google Play links open external services governed by their own policies.
Delete local data
Open Settings > Privacy & Data > Delete Local Data and confirm. This permanently clears local learning history, unfinished quizzes, bookmarks, achievements, scores, preferences and reminders. It also clears any locally saved review-access code. This cannot be undone. Clearing Android app storage or uninstalling also removes local learning data.
Deleting local data does not cancel your subscription or delete purchase records held by Google Play or RevenueCat. Use Manage Subscription in the app or Google Play to cancel renewal. The app preserves its purchase support identity when you use Delete Local Data so subscription access can continue.
Request deletion of purchase data
To request deletion of purchase-related data we control, email support@netpilotapp.com with the subject “Android purchase-data deletion request” and the support ID shown on the app’s subscription screen. You may also use Request Purchase-Data Deletion on that screen to prepare an email. You choose whether to send it. Do not send your password or full payment-card details.
We may ask for information needed to verify the request and identify the correct purchase records. We process requests through our subscription service provider. Records needed for legal obligations, fraud prevention, transaction disputes or accounting may be retained as necessary. Google controls its own payment records; requests concerning those records should be directed to Google. Deleting a RevenueCat record does not itself cancel a Google Play subscription, and a later purchase or restore can create purchase records again.
Support and retention
If you contact support, we receive the email address and information you choose to send and use it to respond, handle your request and maintain relevant support records. Local learning data remains on your device until you delete it. Purchase and support records are retained as needed for the purposes described above and applicable obligations.
Audience and changes
The Android app is intended for users aged 13 and older. We may update this policy as the app changes and will publish the revised policy and effective date on this page. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@netpilotapp.com.
