What is the difference between the direct download and the Microsoft Store version? ▼
Both install the same NetPilot Lite application. The direct download gives you the latest version immediately. The Microsoft Store version auto-updates through Windows.
Do the apps require administrator privileges? ▼
The Syslog Client requires admin access only to read the Security Event Log channel. NetPilot Toolkit needs elevated permissions for specific tools like Packet Monitor and WAN Emulator.
Can I install these on a machine without internet? ▼
You can transfer the installer file to an offline machine via USB. The Syslog Client works fully offline. NetPilot Toolkit requires brief internet access for Pro license activation, then works offline.
