What syslog formats are supported? ▼
The server will parse both RFC 3164 (BSD) and RFC 5424 (structured) syslog messages automatically. It also handles malformed messages by storing them raw.
Does it work with sources other than Windows? ▼
Yes. The Syslog Server accepts syslog from any RFC-compliant source including Linux hosts, network switches, routers, firewalls, and any application that sends standard syslog.
