Will there be a free tier?
Yes. The Starter tier will be free forever with support for up to 5 sources and 7-day message retention.
What syslog formats are supported?
The server will parse both RFC 3164 (BSD) and RFC 5424 (structured) syslog messages automatically. It also handles malformed messages by storing them raw.
Does it work with sources other than Windows?
Yes. The Syslog Server accepts syslog from any RFC-compliant source including Linux hosts, network switches, routers, firewalls, and any application that sends standard syslog.
